To strengthen our team in the Value Strategy & RWE department, we are looking for a Value Strategy & RWE Lead (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible at our offices in Berlin, Basel or Nuremberg

Your mission

  • Strategic, technical and personnel management of the Value Strategy & RWE division, with a focus on HTA, AMNOG, EU-HTA (Joint Clinical Assessments), evidence generation and health services research
  • Advising national and international pharmaceutical companies and biotechs on market access for innovative medicines 
  • Development of integrated HTA, AMNOG and evidence strategies, considering national and European methodological requirements
  • Responsibility for early benefit assessment projects (Section 35a of the German Social Code, Book V), in particular real-world-evidence studies, indirect comparisons, healthcare utilization analyses and joint clinical assessments
  • Ensuring the methodological quality and scientific consistency of project results
  • Responsibility for project acquisition and the division’s tender strategy, including the evaluation of project enquiries, effort estimates and cost calculations
  • Active involvement in shaping the division’s specialist market positioning and service portfolio
  • Representing the division to clients, external experts, scientific bodies and at national and international specialist events
  • Contributing to the company’s European strategy and health policy discussions, particularly in the context of EU HTA

Your profile

  • A successfully completed degree (Master’s/Diploma) in health sciences, public health, medicine, pharmacy or a comparable qualification 
  • Several years’ professional experience in healthcare research or in the field of early benefit assessment of medicinal products, ideally with experience in consultancy 
  • A sound understanding of the structures of the German healthcare system and the relevant stakeholders in the pharmaceutical market
  • Experience in designing and managing real-world-evidence studies and indirect comparisons
  • Knowledge of national and European HTA procedures is an advantage (including EU HTA and Joint Clinical Assessments)
  • Leadership experience and a strong ability to develop teams
  • Analytical mindset, a high degree of initiative and excellent presentation skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and English at an academic level
