To strengthen our team in the area of Value Strategy & RWE, we are looking for a Senior Consultant Real World Evidence - Focus on Healthcare Data Analysis (m/f/d)

Your mission

Design, execution, evaluation and interpretation of analyses based on claims data – in particular health insurance fund data (GKV) and/or registry data – from data preparation through cohort definition to the presentation of results
Interpretation and contextualisation of analysis results to generate robust real-world evidence, and its translation into strategic recommendations for our clients
Strategic consulting for market access, HE&OR and RWE departments at leading pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechs
Providing technical oversight and quality assurance for analyses in interdisciplinary projects, as well as mentoring less experienced colleagues
Providing support on HTA-related issues (e.g. evidence requirements, PICO scoping, analysis strategies) and translating the results into publications, presentations and project reports
Conducting systematic literature reviews and structured evaluations to supplement findings from claims data
Active involvement in the further development of internal data and methodological expertise for analyses of health data from the FDZ-Gesundheit
Collaboration on the preparation and publication of results, e.g. in scientific journals, project reports and presentations of findings

Your profile

Successfully completed degree (master's/diploma) in health services research, public health, health economics, statistics, epidemiology or a comparable field
Several years’ relevant professional experience in the analysis of claims data – in particular health insurance fund data (GKV) and/or register data – in an industrial or academic environment
Demonstrable ability to interpret analysis results independently, synthesise them into real-world evidence and present them in a manner tailored to the target audience
Proficiency in epidemiological and statistical methods, to the extent required for the practical evaluation of claims data
Experience in drafting scientific documents, e.g. study protocols, study reports or publications
Programming skills in R or Python would be an advantage
Knowledge of HTA/market access requirements is welcome but not essential
Analytical thinking, structured and careful working style, and a high degree of initiative
Open-minded and communicative personality with a team- and client-oriented approach
Fluent written and spoken German and English (academic level)
